Our Mission
The mission of our community garden is to promote sustainable urban agriculture and provide a space for community members to maintain garden organic vegetable garden plots within Hyatt Park, Hyattsville, MD. These plots will have nutritional, recreational, educational, cultural, and community developmental value. We also aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities can come together to cultivate the land, share knowledge and resources, and build meaningful relationships with each other and with the natural world.
Garden Members
Members have the opportunity to get assigned a plot where they can plant a variety of vegetables and flowers.
