Member Expectations
As participants in such a community, members are bound by a set of expectations that help maintain the harmony and productivity of the garden.

By adhering to these expectations, garden community members create an environment that fosters collaboration, sustainability, and a strong sense of belonging. The shared passion for gardening and the collective effort invested in the garden lead to a thriving and vibrant community where individuals can connect with nature, nurture their gardening skills, and form meaningful relationships with fellow gardeners.
Annual Dues and Workdays
Members with an assigned plot are REQUIRED to pay $30 ANNUALLY in order to maintain their plot. Payments will take place at the Hyatt Park Community Garden.
* Due to new tax laws, we will not be able to collect electronic payments as of now, so we decided to collect the annual dues during the spring meeting for all members who confirmed to continue with their plot for 2023 along with Newcomers.
Members are also REQUIRED to have 4 hours of service hours per year. There will be a QR code this year that you will get on the day of the Workday activity. Workdays will be located on the calendar and informed in person. Future workdays will be emailed on a regular basis (usually at least one per month).
